On bad days when Anneka Vos had Had it with humanity, She would show up at my place on T St. and declare: Assholes!, followed by, "Im sorry, I’m not feeling very Christian today"the word "Christian" pronounced with a roll of the tongue. I was once asked how I deal with depression and I said I just let it have its way, drink, listen to sad music, until it passes. Today on the cusp of Valentine’s Day I will go sing songs about the different stages of love and try to remember the words.
